We’ve been analyzing the TherMOOstat feedback and the programming for the HVAC system, and have identified an issue with the temperature sensors and air flow. We are taking the opportunity presented by the high volume of feedback to analyze the building’s operations (instead of a single room). Below is a graph of one of our analyses, showing the difference in airflow before and after we implemented a change to the HVAC control system.

Wellman Hall has received the most feedback across campus, over 800 responses since January 2015. This is up to 30% more feedback than other classrooms on campus. There are a total of 24 work orders with the Facilities Management Department since January 2015, totaling over $9,000.
