Energy & Controls
Petar completed his B.S. in Computer Science from Golden State University at the young age of 20. He had been working in the IT industry for almost 6 years before moving on to Johnson Controls in HVAC Controls for almost 7 years. Before he took on the role of Controls Engineer here at the ECO, Petar worked with Siemens in Sacramento for almost 6 years.
What does a Controls Engineer do?
Petar's work mainly focuses on building controls and implement changes for energy conservation.
"I enjoy working as a team to fine tune our systems and efficiency of how everything works."
Favorite thing about working at ECO
With his previous positions, Petar would complete his assigned projects and move on to the next. However, at the ECO, he likes that he can find fixes, see all of his projects through, and keep systems in the fully operational state.
Most memorable ECO Project(s)
Petar has upgraded almost 100 field panel controllers that help transition buildings to next-generation Siemens software and hardware.
