January - April 2015

Starting in January of 2015, responses started to become consistently hot and warm votes. In March, we received 14 warm and hot votes, slightly higher than average. Furthermore, in April we received 25 warm/hot votes!

In late April, the Energy Feedback Team discovered an airflow issue. The source was the four VAV boxes in the room that were not working in sync as they should. We coordinated a re-programming of the VAV boxes and airflow to the room increased.

The resulting May feedback consisted of only two votes. Since surveys indicate that people are more likely to vote when they are uncomfortable, a decrease in votes suggests the room conditions are more favorable.

A classroom in the basement received a spike in hot feedback because the VAV boxes were not communicating properly. We reprogrammed the boxes to restore communication and fix the issue.
